Residents of Lahir community in Mangu LGA were full of praises to the Hon. Lawrence Danat led administration in Mangu LGC and the APC as the Caterpillars have finally commenced work in their domain as part of the ongoing grading of inter-streets and rural roads programme.
The caterpillars have been grounded for long and and humongous amounts of money have been spent on hiring. Now the Local government can boast of her caterpillar. The has cut down spendings thereby saving it for other developmental strides.
The Council Chairman who walked through the streets to supervise the work noted that Culverts would be constructed to link major streets for proper accessibility.
Some community leaders disclosed that they have never felt the presence of government close to them in decades like they are witnessing in this present government.
According to one of the community leaders, for over forty years he has resided in the community, the roads have not been motorable; and expressed appreciation to God for making him witness this kind of development coming to them at their door post.
The Council Chairman, Hon. Lawrence Danat yesterday led some of his appointees for an unscheduled visit to assess the level of work in the ongoing grading of roads in Lahir community after paying a condolence visit to the families of the Majority Leader Mangu Legislative Arm, Hon. Nanchin who lost her Uncle as well as the family of Late Mr. Mathew Maisaje.
Danat is working and Mangu LGA is moving to the NEXT LEVEL.
To God be the glory!
