The death of the paramount ruler and the chairman, council of chiefs is a great lost to humanity considering what the monarch stood for during his sojourn on earth.
His vision and commitment to the Mwaghavul nation, Mangu local government area and the entire state is legendary.
For those of us who were privileged to work closely with the late monach, we admired his humility which is rare and his love for peace and togetherness which stood him out as a father to all in the locality.
We are all witnesses to how he dedicated time, resources and energy to ensure that his community is always at peace with itself and her neighbours.
His fatherly role, calmness and maturity in handling issues at different times have doused tension, calmed nerves and terrible crises were averted.
The loss of Da Nelson Andak Bakfur has left a vacuum that only God can fill because his type at a time like this are hard to come by.
On behalf of my family, the John Pofi Foundation and the Prayer Force Network, I commiserate with the Bakfur family, the Mwaghavul nation, Mangu local government council and the government and people of plateau State.
May God grant us the strength to bear this immeasurable lost of peace icon whose contributions in different facets will live with us for decades.
