Dear Papa, it gives me great joy to celebrate you on this day as you add another fruitful year to your impactful years.
By reaching three scores and seven, almost three scores, yours has been years of full service to God and mankind.
To many who know you like myself, the testimony is that your abiding concern for the good of others and welfare of your people is legendary. The unanimous testimony of millions is that, you spend the better part of your life in self sacrifice, promoting virtue and discouraging vices, building people, spirit, soul and physical.
Since the day you ordained me and other servants of God in Raji oba in the year 2000 July 20th to be precise, life has been soaring with no limitations.
Your life is full of testimonies of how God still performs miracles even in contemporary days where the pulpit has been polluted, discredited, commercilised and bastardised, you have proven yourself to be a religious, economic and an academic bulldozer, that is why you are still standing tall, resolute, focused, with insightful depth, simple, calm, analytical and collected.
Your intellectual prowess has shaped ideas and many people who passed through your tutelage are flourishing academically, economically, spiritually and breaking new grounds in all fields of human endeavour across the globe.
Many of your contemporaries have gone to the great beyond, you have gone through thick and thin, you have passed through the shadows of death, but the grace of God has sustained you all through, I believe it is because of your unequaled simplicity, impactful lifestyle and the sincerity of purpose which have been your Hallmark.
As you mark this important day, l urge you to continue to be simple, your simplicity is a unique trademark that is in short supply in today’s world.
As you increase in age, I join the host of heaven to declare that God shine His face upon you and increase you in all ramifications in Jesus mighty name!
