Executive Director of the Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Centre Jos, Chief Ayuba Burki Gufwan has offered to support women of the Christ Apostolic Church especially those living with disabilities in the area of empowerment.
He made the pledge on Friday, at the close of the Women Conference of the Christ Apostolic Church of Nigeria, which was held at CAC Conference Centre, Fakkos, Bokkos Local Government Area.
Speaking at the occasion, Burki applauded the women for coming together to appreciate God and offer supplication for the peace, growth and development of Nigeria. He encouraged the women to remain steadfast in taking the gospel to all the nooks and crannies of the world, stating that his doors are open to supporting the church at all times.
Showering encomium on Burki, the leadership of the women and the clergy appreciated him for gracing the occasion, stating that he stands out as someone who has the passion to support given his untiring acts of philanthropy.
Prayers were then offered to support his House of Representatives’ bid.
Chief Burki was also at the Palace of the District Head of Bokkos, Saf Monday Adanchin to offer condolence and sympathise with the Royal Family on the demise of Prince Maram Adanchin. He was also at Mai Hakorin Gol of Butura Village and Takai Village to offer condolences to bereaved families, praying for the repose of the faithfuls departed and offering his words of comfort.
