ENGR. D.G. JIPAL BORE THE COST OF GROUND RENT FOR STARTING NAMS COMPUTER BUSINESS CENTRE ATBU BAUCHI CHAPTER

Yesterday, August 14, 2021 was the Cultural Day/Graduation and Special Fund Raising Ceremony of National Association of Mwaghavul Students (NAMS) ATBU Chapter, tagged “The Role of the Mwaghavul Student in Propagating Culture, Peace and Unity”

The programme enjoyed the goodwill of the illustrious sons and daughters of Mwaghavul land. Aside those who came in person and through representatives, those who sent in their contributions alone stood at 185, 000.00. For this, Engr. Jipal express profound gratitude as most of these well-wishers were invited by him.

The young engineer is also into philanthropic activities for some time now, in his words, “Over the years I have reached out to widows by giving them laundry soaps, detergents, wrappers, cash donations and of course, other food items in my community. I subsidized medical bills of all sick patients on admission in all the clinics in Kerang, both public and private.” He said.

“In 2017, during my birthday in Bauchi, I subsidized medical bill of all plateau state students who were on admission in ATBU Medical clinic, including students who were not from plateau; benefited from the kind gesture.

The Medical Director of the clinic while responding to the gesture, commented by saying, ‘it’s the first of its kind in ATBU’s history for a student to offer himself as a Philanthropist’.”

Engr. DG Jipal has been into construction practically since his graduation from the Plateau State Polytechnic and therefore fit to handle any project as an engineer. As a matter of fact, it is from the proceeds of these sites he’s handled that he gets to prosecute some of these philanthropic activities.

His official induction as a Professional builder is awaiting certification. The general public would be in no distant time, invited for the ceremony.

Jipal finally commended the NAMS EXCO ATBU Chapter, under the able leadership of Paul Dayoghop and also prayed God for more wisdom as they keep up with the good work.

People like these need to be encouraged in order to spur them to do more.
