Suspected robbers were yesterday caught in a broad day light at Tudun Wada, ungwa gada, Jos at about 1:46 pm.
According to sources, the tricycle was conveying some passengers along the Jos Central Bank road. A lady boarded the a tricycle, popularly known as Keke NAPEP heading towards Tudun Wada, Jos. In the middle of the journey, the passengers robbed her, collecting her phone and tried to push her out of the tricycle.
While in the process, a couple in another car saw what was going on, then began to chase after them until they got to Angwan gada in Tudun Wada, Jos where they were caught.
While searching the thieves, about 20 mobile phones and a gun was found on them; a source said.
Up untill this moment, their identities are yet to be revealed.
The suspects have since been arrested and remanded by the police for further investigations.
