We sometimes erroneously think that people who are loud are smarter.
If you lack stringent personal principles, you’d daily keep vacillating between how people want you to behave, even if it’s counterproductive in the long run.
One of the most misrepresented leaders on the Plateau is the deputy Governor of Plateau state *Prof. Sonni G. Tyoden* due to his nature and leadership style.
By reason of his temperament makeup and perhaps other circumstances, the Professor would rather he kept his goodwill from the prying ears of the public.
I strongly believe he has his reasons.
The position he currently occupies is a rather dicey one, one in which you could easily get kicked off the cliff if you’re bereft of wisdom.
History is replete with such references.
His tact in the manner in which he handles outbursts, particularly from people who should have been more considerate, given the precarious position he is occupying, has no historical parallel.
I’m sure the media would have been inundated if he had treaded the path of publicising his every good will.
Conversely, that would have come under heavy criticism by the naysayers.
We’re confident that given your wealth of experience in the art of governance, having survived the rigours of first term and now the second, we know that the Lord has prepared you for “such a time as this.”
To take on the baton of leadership from his His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Simon. B. Lalong; the people’s governor.
We can’t settle for less! Go and blaze the trail!
