Last night being Friday, 25th October, 2019; three police men were gruesomely murdered by armed men who were at their duty post. One other person was also confirmed dead at Kombun ward of Mangu LGA. The news was confirmed by the councillor of Kombun ward, Hon. Panle Vwar. He equally made his condolence message available to Paulkumsdiplomatique news. Below is the full text of his condolence message.
✍😭CONDOLENCES MESSAGE*
DEAR compatriots on behalf of the Peace-loving people of Kombun Ward, I wish to express My heartfelt condolences to the families of Late Ezekiel Dungu of Fungzai, who was one of the APC WARD EXCO, Kombun and Mr YUNANA who were murdered in cold blood at KUBON last night.
My I also extend my deepest condolences to the families of Three men of the NIGERIA POLICE FORCE who were ambushed and murdered at their duty post at NCHIYA same last night, Friday 25/10/2019.
This unfortunate events came just few days after a hardworking and jovial youth popularly known as Respect lost his life at Daika in a robbery attack. I share in this grieve with the Dasen family of MPER and the immediate family in that regard.
Permit me to appreciate men of the Nigeria Police Mangu Division, STF( Force Operation Base FOB) Mangu Division, NSCDC Mangu Division, Vigilante group of Nigeria among others for showing high sense of responsibility and resilience by sharing in our grieve and swinging into action, giving us the hope that by God’s grace the security of our people will improve despite the prevailing challenges.
May I at this juncture remind us all that if God does not watch over us, even the people that are saddled with the responsibility of security watch in vain.
Therefore, while we pray for God to help us out in this scary situation, may we unite in prayer and righteousness for God to intervene.
Let us be more vigilant than ever before.
